Summer Twenty23 B.C

While the thin air of Ladakh was keeping me stoked for months, it was time to visit the BC shores before winter blew in. A quick halt at home in Pune, I was up and packed for Vancouver. Upon arrival in BC, decided to hop on the metro and a ferry, making my way to the island to meet my photog buddy Malcolm McLaws.

A weekend amidst ocean breeze later, it was time to checkout the hills inland. My friend Martin Littlejohn made a plan of visiting and riding in the Okanagan region. Thanks to Martin’s son Will, I hopped onboard a Santacruz Nomad for this adventure.

While off the bike, I joined my hiker friends in Vancouver for a weekend of on foot adventure on some beautiful hiking trails outside town. Joining Eileen Bistrisky, Angelisa and Corey we made our way up to the East Zinc summit.

After a tiring but fun weekend in the forest, it was time to get back on the mountain bike!

Through the week I joined Martin and his son Thomas for an E-bike rip in Kelowna! This time, riding an Orbea Rise, our E-bike day ended with high fives and an afternoon at the pub.

Before travelling back to the Indian shores, I logged in a few city rides, being a tourist.

Next up, attending the 28th Asian MTB Championship in Ponmudi, Kerala in October.
